Beacon of Bright Color
August 6 – August 18
 

From August 6 - 18, “Beacon of Bright Color” brings the beauty and vibrancy of color to the Deer Isle Artists Association Gallery.  A range of mediums will be on display, including painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry, and weaving, filling the gallery with the varied palettes of our artists.  Featured in this show are Marianne Alweis, Sarah Baskin, Suzanne Bolton, Ethan Cohen, Diana Coit, Ray Dinsmore, Mary Eaton, Judith Felch, Jill Finsen, Susan Finsen, Jeri Gillin, Emily Johansen, Jadyn LaDeau, Megan LeBoutillier, Alice McKenna, Teri Rippeto, and Ruth Van Doren. 

The public is cordially invited to a reception with the artists on Friday August 9, from 4 – 6 PM. The gallery is open Tuesdays – Sundays from 10 AM – 5 PM. 

The show after that, “Artists in Collaboration,” begins on August 20.
